Feeling confident at work
One of the biggest “wins” I have gotten so far from working with Caroline, is that I am much more present to the flow of my tasks and I find it much easier to negotiate (and sometimes re-negotiate) priorities and deadlines. I have a more reasonable understanding of how much time different types of tasks take, and what my average productive capacity is for a day’s work. In the past I never felt like I could say “no” to new requests, because I felt so guilty about my constant overwhelm and low productivity that I felt I had no option except to take what anyone wanted to dish out. Now I have much more frequent communication with my bosses, co-workers and clients about “What’s on my plate?”, “What’s most important right now?”, “When do you need it?” and “By when can I do it?” I feel so much more confident now … I can go home at the end of the day and say, “This was enough for today, I’ll be back tomorrow.” And the best part is that I can spend more time away from work (guilt-free), and I’m re-connecting with my friends and family.

Making changes, slowly but surely
Caroline, once again, thank you for all of your help. I really feel you have changed my life, slowly but surely. You are amazingly patient and creative and flexible. I hope I can be the same when I grow up.

Creating a “real home”
Yesterday was awesome—who knew that cleaning and organizing my apartment as a team could be so much fun?! :) … I am SOOO glad I found you! And now I just keep looking around at my nice neat place and instead of being filled with guilt and dread, my mind is busily hatching plans for the next steps to making it a real home. Such a lovely feeling!
Defining goals and dreams, and moving toward them
Caroline worked with me as a life coach for several months. It was invaluable!!! We started our sessions when I just had my third child. With a newborn and three kids under the age of 5 I had imagined that the only thing that would be feasible for the first year of my newborn’s life was survival mode. All that we accomplished week after week blew my mind!
Caroline helped me to not only set goals and achieve them on a weekly basis but also helped me to uncover/discover dreams and goals and gain such a better understanding of myself and live a richer and fuller life in line with what is meaningful to me—all while adjusting to the daily challenges and busyness that life brings.
She doesn’t have an agenda or a five-step program to your best life, but simply through listening and asking questions was able to help me find out what would enrich me personally.
I began journaling, which allows me to reflect on a deeper level and enhanced our work together. I took up running again, making physical and mental well-being a priority. I started budgeting again after a several year hiatus, (haha). I made conscious weekly goals in how I wanted to spend my time, interact with my children, and was able to change some of the smaller daily habits in addition to beginning the process of researching and discovering the next steps in my career path and figuring out what my bigger picture dreams are.
Caroline is extremely compassionate, gracious, patient and encouraging. I felt very comfortable being open with her. She is simply gifted and a fantastic person to work with if your goal is to deepen your own life and move swiftly toward your goals and dreams. I can clearly say after working together I am more grounded and happy and very grateful for her services.

Breaking through paralysis
Definitely great working with you. It felt/feels wonderful having accomplished so much on our first day. I’ve literally stared at that part of the room on a daily basis for over a year just feeling absolutely paralyzed and now I can sit down at my table and email, wrap gifts, sort and read the mail, etc.

Taking back control
I would like to thank you for organizing my office at work. Immediately, I could feel the difference. I am more focused, productive and decisive in my job as manager with all the clutter out of the way and knowing where everything is. The greatest lesson I learned from you is that it’s OK to throw things away. I had been saving everything that was ever given to me by my staff, co-workers and boss for the entire eight years I’ve been with the company, so things were out of control and you helped me get my work life back in control.

Reducing the clutter
Caroline was an enormous help for me. I was drowning in stuff in my front closet, and could barely open the door. Caroline very patiently worked with me to clear the clutter, and organize everything. I couldn’t wait to show people my closet when we were done! What a wonderful feeling of relief. Another time, she helped me organize my kitchen. She was very strategic and professional all the way through, and figured out where to put my different items in a very logical manner. It has made an enormous difference—my kitchen is now easy to maneuver, and I can always find what I’m looking for. Caroline made a huge difference in the process and I want to thank her!

Creating systems that work
I have found great relief in attending to my everyday business now that Caroline has helped me devise systems that work! I felt disorganized, unproductive, and confused with the smallest things on my to do list. Now that I have systems in place that work, I can tend to my piles effectively and get back to what’s really important and that’s spending time with my kids and friends. I have relied on Caroline to figure out the details, we worked collaboratively to get me to a place that is effective and sustainable. Caroline works with me in a non-judgmental way, and I trust her implicitly to help me, even in the most personal and sensitive of areas.

I’ve worked a lot with Caroline on projects for RTP, and she has always been one of my go to folks to help us think about space planning options for families and in school environments. She is a great listener, very practical and focused on functionality.

Helping a student with ADD receive a degree
Dear Caroline, thank you again for all your competent help for the young adult student in our family. Your twice-monthly meetings through the semester enabled your client to persevere past the personal challenges of ADD, successfully complete studies and receive a degree. It was wonderful to be able to attend commencement and host a family celebration of this milestone achievement. Your patience and resourcefulness were important keys to a wonderful outcome in our case.
Eliminating the “overwhelmed” feeling
Caroline understands the stress and overwhelm people feel about their mess, and she exudes a sense of calm and confidence that helps us to get through it. She is supportive and really listens. She helped us make optimal use of the space we have and gave us realistic solutions. Caroline helped our family create order and systems that have endured long past the time she worked with us. Having a house that is organized and easier to keep clean has greatly reduced my stress level.

Moving past the roadblocks
Caroline helped me get past my roadblocks for organizing my office and eliminating unnecessary papers. After working with her, I wasn’t so overwhelmed anymore and I was motivated to keep going on my own.
Making life easier for the entire family
I can’t tell you how nice it was to come home from vacation to a cleared dining room table and office area. Usually the rest of the vacation fades the second I walk in the door and I feel overwhelmed and unhappy again. Not this time. There just aren’t words to communicate how stress-less this morning was getting my son off to school. Not to mention my husband’s jaw dropping when he came home and sat at the computer after our last appointment clearing out the computer area.
